Compost and Worm Castings
For Use in:
Vegetable Gardens and Flower Beds
Blend compost with existing soil. Use between 10 & 20 lbs per 100 square feet (1/2” thick). Roto-till, disc, or manually blend this layer of compost with 6” of existing soil.
Spread 1 tablespoon per 6” pot or about 1/8” of compost evenly over the top of the soil and water. Repeat every three to six months or when required.
For Use in:
Till in 1/2″ of worm castings or top dress with 1″ of worm castings around plants. Re-apply every 3 to 6 month with 1/2″ of worm castings.
Mix in 1 part of worm castings to every 4 parts of potting soil
House Plants & Flower Beds
Apply 1/2″ of worm castings at the beginning of spring, summer & fall. Till in worm castings if possible.
New & Established Lawns
Apply 10 pounds per 100 square feet. Water lawns as usual.
Apply 1/2″ – 1″ of worm castings under half the diameter of the trees canopy. Till in if possible.
Mix 2 cups worm castings with 5 gallons of water. Let steep for 1 hour and feed plants.
Coco coir, peat moss, composted forest product, worm castings, perlite, rice hulls, pumice, soymeal, bat guano, volcanic rock dust, feather meal, green sand, azomite, bone meal, gypsum, dolomite lime, and humic shale ore.
Simply plant directly in the blend, and water. Our perfect potting soil works great with all nutrient feeding programs.
For Use in:
Flowers, Vegetables and Perennials
Place your plants directly into Heritage Organics® Potting Soil and water in. Plant at a depth according to instructions provided by your local nursery, or information on plant tag.
Trees and Shrubs
When planting or transplanting trees and shrubs after the dirt has been removed from the desired planting location, place Heritage Organics® Potting Soil in the bottom of the hole to a 2 inch depth. Place your plant in hole and fill remainder with blend. Water thoroughly.
